The Mobile Kitchen Project was initiated in 2022. Based on findings from a survey conducted with very poor families living in the neighborhood, it was found that there are many elderly and disabled people who live nearby and suffer from extreme poverty. Wanting to respond to this need, LOP decided to expand its activities and implement services which provide home delivery of hot meals to this target group as part of our mission to support the vulnerable people in our society and local community. At this time, the team delivers 20 hot meals to poor families every working day of the week and in some cases we also provide fresh fruits or vegetables grown in our compound to supplement food needs.
